Huntley Hills offers a wide array of clubs to students in all grades.  Clubs meet throughout the year and it isn't always easy to keep track of the details.  To help parents out, we have compiled a list with all the pertinent details.  This document is continuously updated to reflect changes, so be sure to check back often.

Registering for Tiger Time
If you are interested in registering for the after school program "Tiger Time," you will need to download this this document.   Please read the document and fill out the form that is included on page 2.  Bring the form with you when you come to the school.  Questions?  You may contact the Office at 678-676-7402.
 
A non-refundable registration fee is assessed at the time of application to reserve space in the ASEDP and assist the school with obtaining start-up materials. Registration Fees are: $25.00 per child, $40.00 for two children, $65.00 for three children, and $90.00 for four children.

Gifted Eligibility Information
The Dekalb County School District provides a standardized gifted eligibility process. This process is composed of automatic screening procedures and aligned forms to be used by gifted program teachers during the referral, evaluation, and placement process.  If you are interested in understanding the procedures Dekalb uses to identify gifted students, please click the TITLE of this article.

Mandatory Volunteer Training
Explanation of Required Volunteer Training

The State of Georgia recently passed a law expanding the listing of persons who are now categorized as mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect. This list now includes anyone who volunteers in a school.

To ensure that all school volunteers are aware of the new responsibilities and penalties associated with non-compliance, ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED BY LAW to go through a brief training presentation created by DeKalb County Schools on the mandatory reporting of abuse and neglect and what it means to be a mandated reporter.

The training MUST be completed before volunteering. You must also complete the form below affirming that you have watched the video presentation and understand your obligations as a mandated reporter.

If you have any questions regarding the presentation or your obligations as a reporter, please contact the school's social worker.
